Welcome to THE Carolina Consortium

The Carolina Consortium (CC) enables libraries in North and South Carolina to use their bulk purchasing power to obtain favorable pricing on a variety of electronic resources and services.

As of 2026, the CC includes over 180 public libraries, seminary schools, community colleges, public universities, and private institutions of higher learning. Membership is currently free. Members can participate in as many or as few deals as makes sense for their library.

The CC's many deals save members, combined, millions of dollars to help stretch collection budgets. CC Leadership continually reviews existing deals and negotiates new deals for members as needs grow and change.
